Welcome to Birribee Housing. Birribee is Wiradjuri for the Grey Box Tree, whose versatile bark was used for canoes, shelter, and coolamons. Birribee Housing emerges from the NSW Land Council Network, so culture, community, and self-determination are at the heart of our work. Birribee is writing a new story: creating new connections and growing the Aboriginal economy.

Welcome to Birribee Housing, Australia’s fastest growing community housing provider improving the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples of NSW.

Birribee inspires people to reimagine their lives and strengthen their connection to their home and local community. We are writing a new story and building the Aboriginal Economy.

We aim to deliver significant improvements in housing outcomes for Aboriginal people across NSW. To do this we will increase the amount and quality of housing available, and expand the opportunities to participate in housing service delivery, management and governance. Our team is expert, inclusive, collaborative, dynamic and flexible. We understand and connect with the people we serve.
